Welcome! I’m a Maker at Heart.
I’ve always been happiest when I’m creating something.
For me, being a maker isn’t about mastering one particular craft, it’s about the excitement of learning how to make something with my own hands. One day I might be in the workshop building something out of wood, and the next I could be gardening, sewing, painting, working with leather, experimenting with my laser engraver, cooking, restoring something old, or diving headfirst into an entirely new hobby.
I love the process just as much as the finished project. I love figuring things out, making mistakes, changing the plan halfway through, learning a new skill, and eventually stepping back and saying, “I made that.”
That curiosity is a big part of what TinaDiTomasso.com is all about.
I don’t believe you have to be an expert to be creative. You don’t need the perfect workshop, expensive equipment, or years of experience before you start. You just need an idea and the willingness to give it a try.
Through this site, I’m sharing the things I make, the skills I’m learning, the projects that work, the ones that don’t quite go according to plan, and everything I discover along the way.
You’ll find woodworking projects, DIY projects, gardening, crafts, home projects, creative experiments, tutorials, and probably a few things that don’t fit neatly into any category – and that’s exactly how I like it.
Because I don’t want to spend my life doing just one thing.
I want to keep learning. Keep experimenting. Keep creating. And most importantly, keep making.
